Best Time to Visit Nepal

Nepal has four distinct seasons, each offering different experiences. Here's a complete guide to help you choose the right time.

October–November (Peak Season)

The absolute best time. Clear skies, perfect visibility, ideal trekking conditions, and Nepal's biggest festivals (Dashain, Tihar). Book in advance.

March–April (Spring Season)

Excellent for trekking with rhododendrons in bloom. Slightly warmer and slightly more humid than autumn but still excellent.

December–February (Winter)

Cold at altitude but beautiful clear days. Great for low-altitude tours, Chitwan, Pokhara, and cultural tours. Fewer crowds.

June–August (Monsoon)

Lush green landscapes but heavy rain. Good for Upper Mustang (rain-shadow area). Lowest prices.
